I never imagined that Noah would have a buddy that is 11 years old and a girl. Her name is Bethany and she lives next door. Every afternoon, Noah peers around the front of the house, checking to see if she is home from school yet. Without a doubt, she appears most days, carrying bubbles, a soccer ball, a scooter, and a Capri Sun for Noah. He has so much fun with her! She helps him look for our skink in the yard, helps him ride her scooter, pushes him in the stroller, and takes him to the "gas station" to fill up his car with "grass" (I like how they are thinking ahead for a new fuel!).
Yesterday was a chilly day --- it never got above the low 60's and as you can see from the picture, Noah is wearing long sleeves and pants. Despite the temperature, Bethany and Noah had managed to fill up his sandbox with water and went swimming with all their clothes on! I don't know how they weren't cold!
We are happy that Noah has a playmate, even if she is just a little older........
