Every Tuesday, the boys and I go to Story Book Time at the local library and read books based on a theme, followed by a craft of some kind. All of this is planned and implemented by the children's library staff weekly. This spring, we have read all about dinosaurs, dogs, modes of transportation, rabbits (for Easter), etc. Yesterday, we read all about cowboys and cowgirls and all the children made their very own special cowboy vests. The children's library has been such a blessing for us and Noah has loved going! He sits on his little carpet and listens intently, looking back at me every so often for reassurance that I have not secretly walked away with David during the readings. Next tuesday is the last day for the spring and we will all be sad to not have story book time all summer!
